Rotational Program


Phillips-Medisize offers an engineering rotational program to new college graduates at the Bachelor's level with a degree in a related technical discipline. Over 70% of our contract manufacturing business is related to medical device/pharma/drug delivery markets, and our new graduates will experience exposure to engineering jobs in those markets.

  • The engineer will work in a technical area related to the earned degree (process, quality, electronics, automation, manufacturing, mechanical design or project engineering) at up to three Phillips-Medisize locations/facilities in Wisconsin over 18 months.
  • Candidates may be assigned to any of the Phillips-Medisize locations in Wisconsin for rotations and requires 100% mobility to move based on business need. Locations are: Phillips, Medford, Eau Claire, Menomonie, New Richmond and Hudson.
  • The purpose of the program is to develop knowledge of the company’s product lines, technologies, capabilities and the business, as well as, develop skills in the technical areas, project management, and customer service.
  • At the end of the rotations, placement in one of the Wisconsin facilities will be based on the business need; the engineer’s preference will be considered.
  • These are full-time, regular positions offering a competitive salary and benefits, along with relocation assistance for each move.
  • Opportunities for International assignments may be available.
  • While in the program, the engineer can expect to participate in up to three weeks of training per-year, tour company facilities in Wisconsin, meet with company executives and management, as well as, interaction with other engineers in the program.

This program has been in place at Phillips-Medisize for over 25 years, and provides a unique opportunity for new graduates to experience different facilities, technologies and learn about Phillips-Medisize, as well as establish good working relationships across facilities. Many participants have gone on to advanced individual contributor roles, program management, engineering, plant and operations management positions within the company.

Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be eligible to work with in the U.S., now and in the future, without requiring visa sponsorship.
